Triangle Palm Tree

A Triangle palm (Dypsis decaryi) is native to the Madagascar. It is threatened in its native habitat, however, it is very popular in palm cultivation.

The striking palm is very different fron other palms, it has a distinct triangle trunk, hence the name triangle palm tree.

This unusual palm tree prefers full sun, sandy well drained soil. It needs regular watering and hardy to freezing temperatures for short periods.

This plant is perfect for a container.
